Training Tips for Medical Students

sep 29, 2008Author: Guru | Filed under: Desi College GirlsMedical school can be an extremely challenging yet rewarding experience that produces truly one of the most respected professions in our society. Physicians are truly the carriers of our health and are the ones we turn to in case of health or medical needs. While in medical school, university students always desired to have a medical device that was capable of measuring the pulse rate and blood oxygen saturation of individual patients while the students were in training. Well, one of the few devices that actually can be used to measure these two very important vital signs is a pulse oximeter. The typical pulse oximeter device is utilized to measure pulse rate and blood oxygen saturation of an individual patient. Depending on the specific health condition that you possess the ability to monitor these vital signs can be the difference between good health and bad health.  For every medical school student, not just seniors, the prospect of Match Day can be an intimidating one. There are dozens of books and countless websites all dedicated to offering in-depth advice and detailed tips on what to do and what not to do while preparing for Match Day. The process leading up to the big day is fairly simple and similar to most other interview processes. The real difference is in how the selections are made. Let’s break down the Match Day process to make things a little easier to understand. Picking your field and finding a teaching hospital where you can continue your studies is important. However, you must be sure that you have fully explored your options as you will need more than one choice. Choosing your program should be based on which one offers you the most, but you must also consider your chances at each program. Choosing only highly sought after positions may limit your chances of getting the one you want.

House Decoration Tips and Ideas

sep 19, 2008Author: Guru | Filed under: Desi College GirlsPakistani GirlsA great deal of us do wish that we can do a lot more with household decoration on the other hand this isn’t an simple factor to perform when area is limited (if you are located in the little apartment for example). When you are residing in the tight, you do not have quite a few alternatives in terms of home furniture either. When you own a massive house, decorating your room can prove very challenging too. It’s by no means uncomplicated to come across the proper furnishings to suit the design from the home as well, because of its vast quantity of space. Today, window blinds made of different materials are available in the market but there are still many buyers who would prefer wooden blinds over others. They are also good investment of money, as they tend to last longer and with a regime of regular cleaning and sometime polishing, can retain the charm throughout. ainting is one of the cheapest, simplest ways to make a room look better. Your furniture doesn’t all have to match, and you don’t have to have nice curtains. Just buy a can of paint in an interesting color, and go to town. You can do an entire room in a bright – but not neon – color, or you can use a bold, deep color on a few accent walls. Area rugs are also utilised sometimes to shield the ground from scratches and other injury or grime that will come daily. For ordinary households, there are several different varieties of rugs which are utilized in several different rooms and areas of the residence. It is employed to defend the ground from large furniture that can scratch the flooring. It can also absorb wetness if an individual just finished taking a bath to steer clear of slipping and tracking wet footprints.

Female Student Problems in Pakistan

mar 10, 2008Author: Guru | Filed under: Desi College Girls
Desi Girls
n increasing amount of attention is being directed to the transition to higher education as experienced by traditional-age and adult students. It is a movement that incorporates a great deal of stress and challenge. Although some students are able to experience this transition as a challenge to personal growth, other students are overwhelmed by the changes and experience emotional maladjustment and depression. In Pakistan like all other useable goods supporting equipments for disable persons such as sticks ,wheel chairs, listening instruments for deaf persons are very costly. They are not affordable by any common person .It means that we are pushing back the disable persons in race of life. The government provides subsidy in all sectors but till now government has not taken any measures to provide these instruments to disable persons at concessional prices. I request the government to take some measures to provide necessary equipments to disable persons at concessional rates. A student who frequently lags behind or just doesn’t get it can be a problem, first for him- or herself. This person often feels bad when they notice they are behind, and this affects their confidence even more. Other learners can be affected if you alter the pace of the course to adapt to one student who is not up to the level.

Laraib Tells About Study Visa For UK

dec 5, 2009Author: Tabi | Filed under: Arab Girls
Egyptian-Girl-Tells-About-UK-Study-Visa
Friends this is our guest post from eArabGirls.com. The purpose of sharing this post is that in the post an arab girl Laraib shares some useful information about UK study visa. She tells that there many students around the world who dont know the proses to get the study visa of UK. Today she wants to share the proses. Laraib tells that if you are planning to study in UK, you will most likely need a visa. Your visa is a document that is placed in your passport, which allows you to enter the UK for a certain amount of time you need for studies. It is not difficult to obtain a UK study visa, but you do have to have all of your documents completed correctly. First, be sure your passport is not expired or damaged. Then, be sure of your exact staying time, course or degree you have to do including city, institure/university.
Laraib says that the easiest way to apply for your visa is by filling out an online form. You will need to create a username, password, and provide your email address to get started. Then you can fill out the application over time and save your work, or just do it all at once. She more tells that There are different types of British visa forms, and they vary based on the purpose of your visit. If you plan to study in the United Kingdom, there is a special form. Likewise, if you are going there for work, there is another. If you are going on a family trip, every member of the family must make a separate application.
In the end Laraib writes that once you are approved for your visa, you can stay in the United Kingdom for the specified time length. When your visa expires, you can apply for an extension otherwise you would have to leave the country.

  • Maaloula, The Best Historical Palce in Syria

jul 13, 2009Author: Guru | Filed under: Arab Girls
    Syria-Damascus
Sabeen is our new subscriber and want to share this article about Ma’loula with us. Sabeen is an Iraqi refuge now living in Damascus (Al-Sham), Syria. This photo is taken in old Damascus when an exhibition was arranged about Iraq.
Sabeen studied archeology, so she got a job at Maaloula. Ma’loula is a town in Syria dominated by speakers of Western Neo-Aramaic. With two other nearby towns Bakh’a and Jubb’adin , it is the only place where the Western branch of the Aramaic languages is still spoken. The town is located 56 km to the northeast of Damascus, and built into the rugged mountainside, at an altitude of more than 1500 meters. The distance and geological features only aided the longevity of this linguistic oasis for over one and half thousand years. However, modern roads and transportation, as well as accessibility to Arabic-language television and print media – and for some time until recently, also state policy – have eroded that linguistic heritage.
There are two important monasteries in Ma`loula: Greek Catholic Mar Sarkis and Greek Orthodox Mar Thecla. Mar Sarkis is one of the oldest surviving monasteries in Syria. It was built on the site of a pagan temple, and has elements which go back to the fifth to sixth century Byzantine period. Mar Sarkis is the Arabic name for Saint Sergius, a Roman soldier who was executed for his Christian beliefs. This monastery still maintains its solemn historical character.
Sabeen is settled in Damascus with her family and looking forward to establish her there as situation of her home country is not very good.

    Family Pool Party in USA
Dayita is an NRI living in Jordan with her family. These photos are taken on a pool party she arranged at her home. Dayita is with her friends Julie and Disha.
They are Indians living in Jordan with their families.
They live near Dana Nature Reserve. Dana Nature Reserve covers 308 square kilometres and is a world of natural treasures. It is composed of a chain of valleys and mountains which extend from the top of the Jordan Rift Valley down to the desert lowlands of Wadi Araba. The visitor to this area will be awed by the beauty of the Rummana mountain, the mystery of the ancient archaeological ruins of Feinan, the timeless serenity of Dana Village and the grandeur of the red and white sandstone cliffs of Wadi Dana. The Reserve contains a remarkable diversity of landscapes, which range from wooded highlands to rocky slopes and from gravel plains to dunes of sand. Moreover, Dana supports diverse wildlife which includes a variety of rare species of plants and animals; Dana is home to about 600 species of plants, 37 species of mammals and 190 species of birds.
Dayita and her friends are enjoying their life in land of Petra. Petra is an archaeological site in the Arabah, Ma’an Governorate, Jordan, lying on the slope of Mount Hor[1] in a basin among the mountains which form the eastern flank of Arabah (Wadi Araba), the large valley running from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba. It is renowned for its rock-cut architecture. Petra is also one of the new wonders of the world. The Nabateans constructed it as their capital city around 100 BC.
Dayita promised that she will send more if comments are positive.

Alazet lives in Amman, Kingdom of Jordan (Amman (pronounced [??m??n]), sometimes spelled Ammann), is the capital city of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, a city of 2,525,000 inhabitants (2008 estimate), and the administrative capital and commercial center of Jordan. It is also the largest city in Jordan.)
Alazet is studying food and nutrition in a local college in Amman. Alazet loves Amman, she says Amman is one of the most liberal cities in the Middle East. Amman is also one of the more westernized cities in the region ahead of places like Cairo or Damascus. Its culture and arts scene is thriving. Its freedom of worship is a long standing tradition of Jordan. The Jordanian media is also one of the most unrestricted in the region. Jordan has no laws forcing women or men to dress in a particular way. Women are not required to wear the veil. Due to its stability and openness, Jordan especially Amman is home to many different artists, writers, and musicians many of which are expatriates from troubled areas like Iraq or the Palestinian territories.
Alazet loves to visit cultural centers and numerous cultural centers can be found in Amman. Alazet is proud of her country and its history. Amman resembles Rome, as it is situated on seven hills, the city was a favorite place for Roman soldiers and officials. Behind the Roman forum stands a Roman theatre ? the largest theater in Jordan ? with room for 6,000 spectators. Thought to have been built between 138 and 161 AD by the Roman Emperor Antoninus Pius, it is constructed into the side of the mountain and is still used for sports displays and cultural events.

    Damascus Syria
Reem Abeidoh lives in Damascus, Syria. Dimashq, also commonly known as al-Sh?m) is the capital and largest city of Syria. It is one of the the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world.
It is where the first alphabet was conceived, where the first written musical note was discovered, and where wheat was first cultivated.
Syria?s rich and varied history has left lasting legacies, which are as diverse as they are remarkable. Syria will always surprise and delight. It is not necessary to travel all over the country to appreciate archaeology. There is enough in Damascus to keep you occupied for at least one holiday. After all, this is the world?s oldest inhabited city and is in itself a living museum.
The main appeal of Syria is its archaeological sites. Home to 39 civilizations over 16,000 years, Syria is a lost treasure awaiting rediscovery.
A short car journey outside Damascus is the ancient village of Maaloula, a mere 50 kilometers from the capital, which is one of only three places left in the world where the inhabitants still speak Aramaic, the language of Jesus Christ.

    Haryana Girl Pari Singh Photo

nov 14, 2009Author: Guru | Filed under: Desi Bhabhi
Pari Singh is a girl from Haryana. Pari is an educator and teaches in a high school. Pari is an English teacher and she loves teaching English as a second language to her students.
Pari Singh thinks being a native English speaker or a non native English speaker literally means that you have a very very marketable skill at your disposal. English is in demand India and you can speak it what a great stroke of luck that is!
This Haryana girl has to work at home preparing lectures as teaching first grade English language learners in mainstream classes how to read has already become a growing national problem that faces many new first grade teachers. In the beginning, teachers should use ongoing mini assessments to know first the starting points of instruction.
In evening Pari works at an English teaching institute where she has to teacher English to adults.
Teaching adults is very different than teaching students in a formal school setting. They are cognitively more mature and motivated. However during the first week of classes, I heard many ‘I can’t do it’ voices in the first week especially from the older adults, who were certain that English was simply a maze of grammatical forms and verbiage that they still couldn’t grasp thirty years earlier when they were in High School.
In this particular type of situation, it is important to lay the ground rules while easing your adult students into a routine while helping them all along the way.
Pari Singh, the Haryana Girl is looking for friends to fill her hardworking routine life. Would you like to be the one?

Jabalpur Girl Ujala Student of Medical

nov 24, 2009Author: Guru | Filed under: Student
    Jabalpur Girl
Ujala is a girl from Jabalpur studying medical also known as M.B.B.S in India. Ujala is studying in Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical college which is formerly known as Government medical college Jabalpur. It was founded in 1955 and is the second oldest Medical college in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India.
From childhood Ujala has an ambition to become a doctor. Becoming a doctor is not the career path for everyone, and it’s not that easy, either. For those who choose it, however, it can be extremely rewarding. There are few gifts that anyone would consider to be more precious than human life, and someone who spends his or her days healing people is often regarded as someone of reverence and someone who commands the respect of other people, simply because that person does what he or she does.
Some people are more naturally gifted at certain things than other people are, too, and that’s an important consideration when one is considering being a doctor. That’s not to say that people who have to work a little harder at it won’t be good at it, but only that it will come more easily to some than to others. Patience and perseverance are skills that any doctor needs, along with the ability to work with others and to intellectualize and deduce problems based on the information that they are given, so they can figure out what is wrong with their patients and treat them appropriately. This can only be taught to a certain degree, and some of it is just natural skill. While Jabalpur girl Ujala had all above characteristics, she is very patient, very cool and hardworking. Most important Ujala want to help poor. We are praying for your success Ujala!

How to Stop Smoking, Best Quit Smoking Support Advice

jul 17, 2009Author: Guru | Filed under: Rawalpindi Girls
    smoking teen
Ambreen Rubab is our new readre and she sent email to us last day. She writes, Smoking is a practice in which a substance, most commonly tobacco or cannabis, is burned and the smoke tasted or inhaled. This is primarily practiced as a route of administration for recreational drug use, as combustion releases the active substances in drugs such as nicotine and makes them available for absorption through the lungs. It can also be done as a part of rituals, to induce trances and spiritual enlightenment. Stress management may be an hurdle in your way to quitting cigarette smoking! Individuals are exposed to so a lot tension at work and at home, which they frequently take shortcuts to decrease the pressure they encounter. It’s much much more tough to stop smoking, when a cigarette may be the only factor that appears to soothe your anxiety. Or so you think! In such cases best quit smoking support ought to address an additional problem and aim at behavior alterations first and foremost. As soon as you understand that fantastic mood and mental stability are not achieved by nicotine, you will probably be more open up to learn concerning the issues that really work!
One of our reader sent these photos of Ambreen Rubab from Rawalpindi (also known as Pindi). What a beautiful look as you can see, smoking queen, Ambreen has. Ambreen is on a holiday in these photos. I don’t know that Ambreen smoke regularly or occasionally but it looks awesome! While on the other hand its not good for your health. Our readers, will sure request you to stop this smoking habit. We all have heard the warnings– cigarettes can cause cancer and increase our risk of heart disease. But the sad fact is that approximately 23 million women in the US (23 percent of the female population) still smoke cigarettes. Smoking is the most preventable cause of death in this country, yet more than 140,000 women die each year from smoking related causes. The highest rate of smoking (27 percent) occurs among women between twenty-five and forty-four.
Those who say that it is absolutely difficult for smokers to quit smoking cigarettes are most probably also the individuals who are as well lazy and settled on the behavior to even make energy to give up. They keep declaring to other people what they say to on their own, that it is actually not possible.  For all those people who smoke out there who are set on stopping, do not let by yourself fall into that lure. Most likely, you don’t even remember why you started out smoking and that you recognize that it is actually self-destructive in much more methods than one. Stopping is possible and here are strategies that will assist you along.
According to one of the researches, it has been found that the smell and taste of cigarettes play a greater role in women’s smoking behavior than in that of men. Another study found that cognitive-behavioral therapy aimed at changing attitudes about weight promotes smoking cessation by women. Even if we compare their stats with men, well be surprised to know that the guys who smoke are one out of every three. However, while smoking as well as smoking-related deaths from such diseases as lung cancer have been falling in men, they have been increasing in women. Smoking, in fact, takes a greater toll on the health of women than men; a smoking woman loses, on an average, 15 years of her life while a smoking man loses just over 13 years.
So what? We wish a long healthy life to you! Live with peace and prosperity.

Dear readers Arooba Fatima is another regular reader of edesibabes.com. She tells that she is reading edesibabes.com since last one year. She has sent her photo through our contact form with a wonderful message.
    Arooba says I’ve Learned…….!
I’ve learned that you cannot make someone love you.
All you can do is be someone who can be loved.
The rest is up to them.
I’ve learned that no matter how much I care,
some people just don’t care back.
And it’s not the end of the world.
I’ve learned that it takes years to build up trust,
and only seconds to destroy it.
I’ve learned that it’s not what you have in your life,
but who you have in your life that counts.
I’ve learned that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes.
After that, you’d better know something.
I’ve learned that you shouldn’t compare yourself
to the best others can do,
but to the best you can do.
I’ve learned that it’s not what happens to people,
It’s what they do about it.
I’ve learned that no matter how thin you slice it,
    there are always two sides.
I’ve learned that you should always leave loved ones with loving words.
It may be the last time you see them.
I’ve learned that you can keep going
long after you think you can’t.

Sania Mirza became the first Indian woman to win a senior grand slam title when she teamed up with compatriot Mahesh Bhupathi to win the Australian Open mixed doubles.

That’s what we all play for,” and it all happened by the someone that I know for so long and so well. “I want to thank all the Indians – we are very lucky that there are so many millions supporting us, not just here but back at home.

India’s sexy sensation, Sania Mirza, has hit a volley. The 21-year-old tennis star has caught her detractors unaware by declaring that she would not play in next month’s Bangalore Open, where the likes of Venus Williams and her younger sister, Serena, are to compete. Mirza said that she would not play in her own country to avoid controversies, heeding to the advice given by the sports company that manages her. It is headed by her mixed doubles partner, Mahesh Bhupathi.
Though Mirza is the first Indian woman to win an international tennis event, reaching the fourth round of a grand slam, she has had to fight terrible controversies, largely because she is a Muslim. Much of her celebration has often been marred by rancour and bitterness.
Islamic fundamentalists have raved and ranted about her short skirts, and even though she changed into shorts while playing in India, criticism seldom stopped. (more…)
